One of the most important aspects of kitchen design is creating balance. Dark colours can work beautifully in the right setting, but when dark cabinetry is paired with dark flooring, the entire room can begin to feel heavy, enclosed and lacking definition.
This kitchen in Fareham, Portsmouth suffered from exactly that problem.
The existing gloss black kitchen was difficult to maintain, showed marks easily and blended into the dark flooring, causing the room to lose character and visual contrast. The homeowners wanted something brighter, fresher and more reflective of their style.
Over the course of just four days, we completely transformed the kitchen into a vibrant, contemporary space filled with colour, texture and luxurious finishing touches.

The original kitchen featured:
