Our mission was to transform the space into a kitchen that felt luxurious, bespoke and thoughtfully designed, while dramatically increasing both storage and functionality.
Before: Practical but Lacking Character
The original kitchen featured the typical characteristics of many new-build developments:

Standard cabinetry with little visual impact
Unused space above the wall units
Basic handles and fixtures
A lack of warmth, texture and personality
While the layout worked well, the overall appearance felt flat and uninspiring.

The transformation completely elevated the look and feel of the kitchen, introducing rich textures, warm tones and carefully selected finishing touches throughout.
Key upgrades included:
Wrapping the main kitchen cabinetry in NH73 Warm Walnut Wood, creating natural warmth and sophisticated texture
Finishing the wall units in N3 Matte Beige for a soft contrast that keeps the space feeling light and welcoming
Wrapping the worktops in NH33 Raw Granite, adding depth and a luxurious stone-inspired appearance
Installing an additional wall unit to maximise storage and create a more balanced design
Extending the kitchen cabinetry all the way to the ceiling for a bespoke fitted appearance
Creating additional overhead storage compartments with opening panels above the wall units
Filling existing handle holes and upgrading the hardware throughout
Installing beautifully crafted knurled metal T-bar and knob handles for an elegant, high-end finish
The result is a kitchen that feels completely custom-designed, with every element working together to create a refined and luxurious space.
Design Notes: Layering Texture, Warmth and Functionality
One of the standout features of this project is the way the three finishes work together.
The rich grain pattern of NH73 Warm Walnut Wood introduces warmth and character, while the soft Matte Beige wall units prevent the darker timber tones from overwhelming the room. The Raw Granite worktops provide the perfect balance, introducing texture and depth while maintaining a contemporary feel.
The decision to extend the cabinetry to the ceiling had a dramatic impact on the overall design. Not only does it maximise storage, but it also creates a seamless, built-in appearance that instantly makes the kitchen feel more premium and bespoke.
Combined with the knurled metal hardware, the finished space delivers the perfect balance between modern luxury and practical everyday living.
