This beautiful apartment in the heart of Paddington, London already had a great kitchen to work with, but the client wanted something softer, warmer and more elegant.
With careful consultation and design input, we created a refined new look using a combination of dark oak, beige marble and delicate white finishes. The result is a kitchen that feels calm, cosy and contemporary, all completed with an impressive one-day turnaround.
Before: A Great Kitchen Ready for a Softer New Look
The original kitchen was already well laid out and had plenty of potential. However, the existing style felt like it could benefit from more warmth, texture and softness.
The brief was to create a space that felt:

This transformation focused on creating a carefully balanced palette with natural warmth and subtle luxury.
Key upgrades included:
Wrapping the island unit in Coverstyl F5 Dark Oak for depth, warmth and a premium furniture-style finish
Wrapping the worktop surfaces in Coverstyl NG04 Beige Marble for a lightly patterned, elegant stone effect
Continuing the NG04 Beige Marble onto the island waterfall sides for a seamless designer feature
Wrapping the wall units in Coverstyl RM10 Delicate White to brighten the space and maintain a clean, contemporary look
Creating a softer contrast between the cabinetry, worktops and island for a more luxurious apartment-style finish
The end result is a beautifully balanced kitchen that feels sophisticated, calm and welcoming.

The Dark Oak island creates a strong centrepiece without overpowering the room, while the Beige Marble worktops and waterfall sides add subtle movement and elegance. The Delicate White wall units help keep the kitchen feeling bright, fresh and spacious.
